General Conditions
- Minimum Rental Requirements
- Minimum rental 24 hours
- Daily rate applies from 1 to 6 day rental.
- Weekly rate applies to rentals exceeding 7 days.
- Minimum age for drivers 21 years old
- Own client's Credit Card
- The daily rate is the amount paid for each 24 hour period.
- All prepaid reservations are non-refund.
- All vehicles are restricted for use within the boundaries of Costa Rica.
- Valid passport and driver's license are required for rental.
Additional Drivers:
- Additional driver at only $ 2.00 usd per day with Best Price Rent a Car. (Some Restrictions applied)
Gas:
- The car must be dropped off with the same amount of gas specified in the contract, otherwise any fuel shortage shall be charged.
Payment Methods:
- For car rental: credit card.
- Other charges will be reflected on your rental contract.
- All prepaid reservations are non-reimbursable
Deposits:
- Credit Card Guarantee (American Express, Visa, Master Card), to make deposit.
Which go form U.S. $750, 00 to $1500, 00 depending on the vehicle, plus the estimated amount of the rent .
Extra Hours:
A minimum rental period of 24 hours is required for all rentals, with a 60-minutes grace period. After such time an extra $10 rate will be charged per each hour to the renter. After 3 hours, a full-day fee will be charged.
**All Rates include unlimited mileage.**
Drivers License:
Foreign driver's license are valid for three months upon arrival.
For longer you will need a Costa Rica driver's license.
Rates Does Not Include:
Gas.

Traffic Rules & Travel Recommendations:
- Drive on the right side of the road.
- The Speed limit on the highway is 55 mph (90 km).
- After an accident do not move the vehicle until the police and the insurance inspector arrive and call straight the car rental agency and do not leave the car alone.
- Be wary, especially; at night when you are driving in the rainy season.
- Never leave anything of value in your car and keep it parked in guarded places.
- You cannot cross into Nicaragua or Panama with rented vehicles
- Take into considerations that the following about vehicular restriction in San José downtown and surroundings depending on the last number of its plate
